Products

What is the country of origin of Balarya products?
All Balarya products are imported from their respective manufacturers in Turkey. While all peshtemals, towels and bathrobes we carry are manufactured in and imported from Denizli, Turkey – the textile industry capital of the Middle East region, all other products are manufactured in and imported from various other parts of Turkey.

What materials are used in the making of textiles?
While bamboo and cotton are the two main materials in our peshtemals, towels and bathrobes, we recommend you see the item descriptions for detailed information.

Peshtemals look great! But are they only good for the looks?
Compared to everyday towels, peshtemals are very lightweight, much better in absorbing water and dry extremely fast, thus very versatile and comfortable apart from being also stylish.

Any chance of peshtemals causing a rash?
If you’re not allergic to cotton/bamboo, you’re safe. All our textile products are made using mostly organic materials and natural dyes.

How is a peshtemal used/worn?
Please refer to the ‘User’s Guide‘ page ideas and illustrations on how peshtemals are worn. There’s a good chance that you’ll instantly love them!

Do I need to take special care for Balarya textiles?
No, but we recommend you visit the ‘User’s Guide‘ page for more information and care instructions.

A certain model is listed out-of-stock. Can I expect it to be back in-stock anytime soon?
Sure! As long as we don’t remove a model from the collection, it means it’s still in our import schedule. You can always contact us asking for an E.T.A..

How much do you charge for shipping?
We offer free shipping for all domestic orders $50 and above and $6.95 for orders below $50. International shipping rates vary depending on the target country and can be determined only at checkout.

Is there any chance that my order will be stuck in customs?
Different countries have different customs regulations and different limits for the value of imported goods. We do our best and take necessary precautions for orders not to be stuck in customs but since we have no control over your package anymore once it’s been picked up by USPS, we accept no responsibility for any possible customs fees that may or may not apply.

What happens if my order is stuck in customs?
You will have to pay the taxes and duties required by the customs of your country. There’s a good chance that USPS’s partner in your country will be assisting you with customs procedures for a brokerage fee. Alternatively, you are free to claim your package at the customs yourself.
